Athlete are the real students
I am a freshman here at the University of Memphis and after the first semester I think to myself how do other students complain on how hard college is. I am a student athlete and I have a 3.1 gpa and it would be higher if I didn’t have to go to practice every day from 3 to 5 that takes a lot of time and effort. If you’re not in graduate school then you really don’t have room to talk this junk about a job that is something that you chose to do tough luck that means nothing, quit the job, that doesn’t hurt you status at the University of Memphis. Being here on a track scholarship I can not throw track away I got standards to meet and keeping my grades up is on of those standards to make the track team. I think students that take 3 or 4 class should easily have a high gpa way higher than mine if not you do not need to be in college. Athletes are not stupid they just don’t have the time to do the things that the other students do so whenever you think that college is to hard and you want to drop out and leave think of those other students the student athletes think about what they are going through and then think again about quitting or dropping out of college.

I think it's pretty funny and ironic that YOU of all people wrote this blog. You sit in class every week and complain about all the work that Wendy gives us. Every time she says anything, you have some smart-ass comment to shoot back. I sit in class and think "why do you come to class? You don't have to be here and you don't have to do the work. So why come if you're just going to complain about everything?" Not only is it disruptive to the entire class, it is incredibly disrespectful to Wendy who does everything she can to work with us and help us out with any problems. Lots of times she extends deadlines just to give us a break. Yet you always have some complaint. I have no sympathy for you being an athlete either. You athletes think that you don't need to do any work because in a couple of years you're going to go pro...right? So if that's the case , don't bother coming to class. You'll be a rich Olympic athlete in 5 years, so you don't need a college education.
Finally, I read a comment that you posted on a fellow student's blog where you called her "stupid" and asked "how did you get into college?" Not only was that entirely uncalled for and rude, but you have no room to talk. Most of your blogs and comments have many grammatical and spelling errors and half of them don't make any sense. So before you start calling people idiots and judging them, maybe you should look in the mirror and reflect a little.
